  These are pretty darn good socks for the price

  I tried on my first pair of these yesterday, and they feel really great. I like these much better than the low-cut socks that barely come over the heel of the foot. They feel nice and soft, very comfy, and the quality is very nice. Definitely liked the fact that these aren't really expensive and didn't break my budget. For the person who isn't hung up on a name brand, who's just looking for quality at a fairly good price, I recommend these socks, without a doubt.   Acceptable, but higher cut and lower quality than expected

  These socks are fine. If you're looking for fine socks, you've come to the right place. They get two stars off for the following two reasons. First, they are simply not as low-cut as the name would lead you to believe. When I wear them with standard-height sneakers, the socks are not only visible but rest approximately 3/4" above the top of the shoe. I'm a size 11 so if anything, these socks should run toward the smaller side on me, but alas. Second, each and every pair in the package has already developed a run in them after just one or two wears & washes each. I find new threads just hanging out there nearly time. They'll probably hold up for another year or so with regular wear, but I guess I was just expecting a little bit more in quality.   Lowest quality socks possible

  The only stretchy parts of these socks are the tops with elastic. The rest of the body of the sock is just a big terrycloth bag with no elastic at all. After one washing all of the "soft" inside part of the terry is hard and uncomfortable. I had 6 pairs of Hanes Fit that I bought in the store that I was trying to get more of. These definitely aren't them. If I hadn't washed them already they'd be going back.   This is a review for Gold Toe Men's Cotton Quarter Athletic Sock. I purchase these socks based on very good review here.1. Comfort: These socks are comfortable, soft at first, however after an hour i feel very warm.2. Material: These socks don't look like it was made from quality cotton.For $18, these socks are not worth the value.3. Size: I order size 10-13( for shoes size 6 to 12.5). The socks are too large and too loose(my shoes's size is 8). In addition, after the first wash, these stretch a lot. I have Nike , Puma, CK socks and have never had this problem.
